Not a HAPPY update ....

Karyn, otherwise known as 'Special K' has decided the time has come for her to leave our 'Circle'. I will be honest and admit this makes me quite sad but I will never try to stand in the way of a friends decision. She has assured me this is for entirely personal reasons and has nothing to do with our friendship. Of course I am very sad about her decision but will certainly respect it. With that said, I will also say that I will try to keep the site updated because even though "I" am no longer really in 'the loop', Susan has tons of information to share with everyone. I thank everyone who continues to visit with us and hope to find ways to entertain and amuse you. I welcome any and all suggestions.

Welcome All!

This is Susan and Dee saying we hope you will enjoy yourselves here. It has taken a while to put into words and pictures and songs everything we wanted to say, and will always be in a bit of 'construction' but has been a fun time in the making! We want to make it as easy to read and navigate as possible and welcome all your suggestions. We have included link buttons on all the pages so you can easily go back and forth. The 'SuKaDe' button is our 'home' page, which will bring you right back here. We have music and sound bites for all of you with sound cards. This site is best viewed at 1024 x 768 resolution but of course all should work. Although this site might not be 'perfect', it was created with love because . . .

. . . we are two women who met and became friends due to, of course, Ted Neeley! As you view our pages you will see we have totally different personalities and perspectives on life, love, and the pursuit of Ted Neeley ... news! We created this site in the hopes of widening the already amazing 'Circle of Love' with more friends and fans of Ted. 'We' may be called the 'Teddie Neeley Three', but YOU are the 'circle of love'!

A 'word' from Dee (web mistress)

Hi all, This is Dee. Some of you may already know me from my original website for Ted known as 'One of the Many Fans of Ted Neeley'. I created that site over 10 years ago and it was what I considered a labor of love. I had just found 'the internet' and was going through some personal 'issues'. I wanted to create a web site but had no idea on what the theme should be. Then ... Jesus Christ Superstar came to my town, and my JCS/Ted adventures began! I found my theme! What a joy it was for me creating that site, then meeting some of the greatest people ever because of it! Sharing my times with Ted and the rest of the cast was more fun than I ever dreamed! This lasted for many years, but with life's many twists and turns the time came when it had to end. The site came down, but not my many wonderful friendships.

And because of these friendships, a few years later, another site was developed. My friends Susan, Georgie and Laura decided it was time to re-open the circle, so to speak. Our biggest decision at the time was what to name our site. We had many ideas, but 'Teddie Neeley Four' was our favorite. Before going public though we of course wanted to get Ted's permission. Below is his response to our email:

"It makes me feel extremely fortunate that you
want to create another web site and I have no problem
with your choice for a name. Are you sure you want to go
with that instead of maybe something as extremely inviting as,
"DENISE, GEORGIE, LAURA, and SUSAN" Do The News.
Or, if you would rather not use your names, how about
using your initials, respectively as, "DGLS Do The News?"
And, "DGLS" would also represent, "Da GirLS" as well!
Aaah, what a glorious vision that conjures up!"

And that is how we became 'DaGirLS' for our Teddie Neeley Four website!

Susan, Georgie, Laura and I had some great times together and 'DaGirLS' was an experience I will never forget. We made more amazing friends and shared some wonderful times. Now we have more wonderful memories! But, like life is, more changes occurred and it just wasn't feasible to keep our site as it was. My one regret is I still haven't been able to meet Laura, in person, but I know someday I will! And, although our site no longer exists, DaGirLS always will! Dee, Georgie, Laura and Susan, just as Ted named us! I'm hoping that Georgie and Laura will make many guest 'book' visits to our new site!

Soooo, now we are at the next chapter of Teddie sites. SuKaDe! Teddie Neeley Three's Circle of Love! I'd like to say it has been going smoothly and was a 'piece of cake' after creating 2 other sites. That's what I'd LIKE to say, but I'm not that good a liar! We've had a few glitches but nothing that couldn't be fixed. And here we are! Susan, one of my long, long time 'Ted' friends, will be bringing us the latest tour schedule information as well as sharing her incredible 'journey' over the years of Ted Adventures! And then there's me, Dee... I can't guarantee a lot of fresh new stuff, but I'll try to update with any new Ted adventure I'm lucky enough to have.
